Adding a 50 year banner to the logo we developed for Ballet Mississippi a few years ago just helped me remember my daughter's ballet days with the company and was a pleasant reminder of what a gem we have with David Keary as Ballet Mississippi's Artistic Director!
Logo Design is my favorite thing to do. When I am happiest (well...there are other times, too). Here's the process: #1 Ask LOTS of questions. #2 Research the market to make sure you know what the competition and history of the product/service is. #3 Find a quiet space with my sketchpad away from the computer and something to chew on (ideas always flow better when my mouth is occupied :)...I prefer Twizzlers or gummy bears. #4 Stare at a blank page. I actually do stare at a blank page. I like it :) and as the visions come to life in my head, my brain tells my hands what to do. Sometimes I send teasers to my client before they see the first presentation...I did in this case

Thanks to Stan Little and Keith Sisson, flying to the beach has just taken on a whole new meaning. They literally rolled out a red carpet for passengers on the inaugural flight.
