Being thrust into a recent resurgence of digital billboard design, I had a nagging feeling that somewhere in my past I had trained for this already. Then, it hit me. The Lite-Brite! Boy did I love playing on that as a child. Just think of it as a Lite-Brite board and you will have success!

Adding a 50 year banner to the logo we developed for Ballet Mississippi a few years ago just helped me remember my daughter's ballet days with the company and was a pleasant reminder of what a gem we have with David Keary as Ballet Mississippi's Artistic Director!

Sun & Sand: The Mississippi Film & Music Festival Guide 2012. We had one week to gather content, design, proof and get to Hederman Brothers to print. Lots of long days & nights, lots of gatefolds and tight teamwork and we did it! Here is one of the 6-panel spreads that highlighted each film. We look forward to Sun & Sand in the fall of 2013!

Despite some sources forecasting that print was going to fade out, it is going strong. And with new dimensions and interactive capabilities, it will be an even stronger medium. Yay! I love a printed piece to hold and touch and get into.

In March of last year, 14 employees at the Elizabeth R. Wellborn law firm in Deerfield Beach, Florida were fired for wearing orange to work. Who knew PMS 021 could incite should a reaction?The orange-wearing employees were called into a conference room, told by an executive that their wardrobe was understood to be a protest against company policy and they were dismissed immediately.
